Holy Cross Mission Moment 

Holy Cross Mission Moment is used for our morning prayer for our morning announcements at Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, CA.. Each edition shares a moment of reflection for the entire school community that will focus on our heritage and Holy Cross Mission, Blessed Basil Moreau, and the charism of Holy Cross which is so important to the existence of Notre Dame High School. Each reflection will end with an actual prayer. There will be copies of each week’s Holy Cross Mission Moment available for display on bulletin boards to afford our students, faculty, staff, and school visitors an opportunity to personally reflect on the resource. The Mission Moments will only be used on Mondays --“Mission Mondays.”

Notre Dame High School shared work similar to this in 2006-07 as a part of the Year of Rejoicing in preparation for Father Moreau’s Beatification. It is surely worth revisiting the experience to reinforce and help us to remain focused on our Holy Cross mission.
